The Emotional Intelligence component of the ELEVATE program will assist your understanding, use, and management of your own emotions in positive ways to relieve stress, communicate effectively, empathise with others, overcome challenges and defuse conflict.

Mindfulness training enhances aptitude of self-regulatory process; to reappraise stressors and down-regulate stress responses. Mindfulness training has been associated with numerous health advances including enhanced cognition, awareness, and sleep quality, as well as reduced symptoms of depression and anxiety.

When we are able adopt mindfulness qualities, we can acknowledge and accept the presence of external stimuli, bodily sensations, emotional reactions, and cognitions, without overreacting to them, and are capable of redirecting our focus of attention toward thoughts and behaviours that benefit performance.

The MAC approach was developed on the theory that individuals are better able to make decisions in practice and competition that lead to improved performance when they are able to adopt non-judgemental awareness and focus their attention on task-relevant stimuli.

As humans we have a typical life course that consists of successive phases of growth, each of which is characterised by a distinct set of physical, physiological, and behavioural features.

The Resilience component of the ELEVATE program will enhance your ability to adapt, grow and excel through times of challenge or change. Like a muscle, resilience can be trained and strengthened to support us in moments that matter most.
